russian author? with a rather short name. It was set in the future. The people were assigned names, jobs, given times they could eat and times they could work etc. The men women and children were all separated and trained to do the jobs they were assigned. One man who was a street sweeper fell in love with a woman, rediscovered electricity, found out his life was more restricting then it should be, ran away with the woman he loved, and started somewhat of a civilization in the mansion he found in the foothills after running with his woman.
