I didn't post this in diet and fitness because that place is all spam and I am sure people here can relate to me.
Over the past 3 years I have gained about 20 pounds.I am trying to eat healthy to see if that helps reduce weight. Then I would start riding my bike or skateboard for exercise.
I am trying not to eat cookies, candy, and fried things. My mom always makes great food though! She makes a lot of mexican food and made catfish last night! It isn't healthy though.
I actually like caesar salad a lot and fruit, but I know this isn't all I am going to eat. I also like chicken and chicken is a healthy meat. I like vegetables, but my mom doesn't really buy them-and when she does we eat veggies for a week and then don't for about 2 or 3 months.
I don't know how to stop eating what my mom gives me. I don't want her to think I am trying to slim down, I hide my body fat very well and look fine, but when I take off my clothes I have this flabby stomach and legs- my stomach almost looks pregnant!
How do I start trying to be healthy without my mom questioning me? How can I start eating healthy with all the food my mom makes?
