I am too nervous to talk to the boy I like! HELP!?

I am in 6th grade, and the boy I like is in 7th.I am so afraid that he is going to think I am a dork or something! I am a scaredy cat! He knows I like him, and I think he likes me...but I don't know. We text, but I have never talk to him in person. I want to ask him out, but I need to talk to him in person first! HELP PLEASE!!!
