It would really help me if somebody could say some pros and cons of one or both subjects :) Btw I am interested in both and have been told that I can do both so it is a real dilemma. Oh and I want to be a lawyer when I grow up!

BUSINESS STUDIES
PROS;
Can be interesting as it gives you a wider knowledge and understanding of everything thats happening in society, such as why Woolworths went bust, why the banks are struggling etc.

It can help you make money by teaching you how to buy shares in businesses and what are likly to make you the most money.

It gives you a lot of general knowledge.

Would be useful for becoming a lawyer but not essential.

Business stays the same forever, once you know it, it wont change, unlike electronics whcih keep on getting updated.

CONS;
Can get very boring depending on your teacher.

Can be very hard.

A lot of writing.

ELECTRONICS
PROS;
Very practical.

Interesting as you get to see how things work.

Not boring.

Can be fun and more social.

Helps you when coming to DIY in your own house.

Helps you wire up new things in yuor house and gives yuo knowledge of new technology.

CONS;
Some writing and reading.

Not great for becoming a lawyer.

It will get outdated as everything is changing, everything electronic is constantly being updated so it wont be useful to you forever.

I would choose Business if i was you as it may help you in becoming a lawyer, but its not essentail for becoming a lawyer.

Remeber its up to you

I hope this helps

Good luck

I would say business studies.
Its a broader subject where as electronics is just.. electronics.

Dont know if you will get what i mean & thats just my opinion ;]

i suggest u to do electronics first bc it is a technical field then u can easily do your business studies.
make profession that subject afterwords which suits u most

Neither will particularly further your chances of becoming a lawyer.
It depends on you.
If you enjoy a bit of practical work with also some calculations, Electronics. If not, Business. I did both and have to say I found Electronics a lot more interesting, but thats probably personal.
