I am writing a poem for my English class, our topic is "unrequited love". I've gotten pretty far... but I am stuck, unfortunately.. This is what I have so far, can anyone help me out?
I can’t explain this feeling,
I feel it deep inside.
I feel it when I’m near to you,
I feel it all the time.
But lately you’ve been acting,
A little strange I’d say.
Almost like you want me gone,
You don’t care if I stay.
I understand the idea,
Best friends are important too.
But you’ve got to straighten out this mess,
There’s nothing more that I can do.
I’ve tried to get it through your head,
If you love me it must show.
But you- (and this is where I'm stuck)
Help or an idea would be much appreciated. Please and thank you ♥
