I was out of town at college orientation with two friends when one of them got a text about it... none of us believed it at first. It was interesting though how quickly news spread because none of us had access to computers or TV's yet everybody there knew by the end of the night.

it was sunday at like 6 and i was on the phone with my friend and she just randomly said it while i was telling her a story

I was on my way back home, i got a text sayin michael jackson died. And i was like.. what?? so i then called my mom and was asking if it was true and she said, no he's only in the hospital.. When i got home i walked through the door and heard, Micael jackson has now been reported dead. I was so dumbfounded

I was actually watching the news because we had bad storms going on so i was watching the weather and all a son the breaking news thing came on saying Michael Jackson was sent to the hospital then like 5-10 minutes later it came back on saying he had died. Pretty shocking and crazy.

I was at home reading some new texts and a friend updated his twitter saying so, at first i was in a shock and i then got on the computer and started searching and I found of this had been true.
