I am really sore from a camp i went to.?

i just returned from softball camp thursday, and i have a game tonight, my pitching arm is sore, like right above my shoulder by my neck, and a little bit above my underarms, i was wondering if a hot or cold bath/shower would help? which one would be better?
 
I think heat is before a work out, cold soothes after,
a least at therapy they apply heat to loosen things prior ,
ice after I was told something to do with the blood vessals, I iced & did heat alternating like every 15 min.

It's obviously inflamed. To fix inflammation the 4 best things you can do are.

1) Rest it
-Since that isn't an option...
2) Elevate it
-Sit up and keep that area above your heart
3) Ice it
-This will help with the inflammation. A hot shower may make it worse!
4) Take ibuprofen
-It will help relax those muscles

One last thing that may help is using compression such as an ace wrap! Good luck :)
