yes 4 gauge should be fine .. make sure you run an extra 4 gauge ground wire from the battery terminal to the chassi of the car about 1 ft max.
all cars have the ground wire to the chassi from battery but run an extra ground yourself to the chassi and secure it with a bolt

that will help eliminate radio engine noise and also better for yous system and lights dimming while base action ..

dont forget to at a capacitor

and the amp ground also keep your ground wire short 4gauge ground from amp to chassi
