culture. Any help on where to go? My husband's family is a part of the Mac Gregor clan and we want to focus our trip on the Central Highlands. None of us has ever been to Scotland and we want to check out places that most people don't visit-less touristy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
You could go up to Orkney and visit the historic buildings and see the Ring of Brodgar, which is interesting. It has a lot of history.

You could visit the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. It's very nice there but it is a bit touristy and busy.
