I will be travelling for about 2 months taking in as much of mainland Europe as i can, including a sojourn through the Alps. I will be travelling as light as possible, but will have a pillion for two/three weeks mid way through. I presently own a unfaired Honda CB500, which i would love to take, as it has low miles and so far has been very reliable, but i'm not sure if it would cope with luggage (plus pillion).
I'm basically after suggestions for a bike that would handle the job, in the £1500-3000 range.
