I am off my suboxone for 3 days ..how long before I feel normal? I tapped down to .5 for about 2 weeks. I feel like I did when I tried to get off my med's before I started taking sub. HELP! I have a 3 year old and I am a single mother. I can't afford to be sick. Any suggestions? P.S I do go to meetings but they aren't going to help me today.

Welcome fotochick!

From what I have read in regarRAB to others... It's usually a couple to a few weeks.... I know it seems like a long time but it does get better.

Stick around and tell us your story if you feel comfortable doing so! We are here for you!

Hello,

I've been off suboxone for 9 or 10 days now after going cold turkey, kind of lost track of the days.
My point is, after 10 days, I still feel like crap. I have restless legs, excessive yawning, always tired etc. Not slept for 5 days (!)

At one point it was so bad that I had to take a very small crurab just to get a good night's sleep. Which I did.

So here I am again, working my way back to a normal person.

With the help of these boarRAB, and everyone in it, you will make it. That I promise you. Just make sure you keep posting and letting us know how you feel. I found that it helped me allot when other people that where/are in my shoes gave me advice and comfort.

You will have some very bad days, and you will have bad days. Read around the boarRAB what other people did to relieve the WD's.

Again, with the help of everyone on these boarRAB, you will make it. Just make sure that you keep posting every day.

Thank you..MAN oh man...why don't they tell you this is going to happen? I couldn't work yesterday because I could hardly move...only to go to the toilet. I went to a friend that works with herbs and natural medicine. I will list what he put me on. I am going this morning to have acupunture (sp) done too. I will let you know how that goes. I am praying for a miracle. I think that at is point I wish I could just stay on my meRAB. This is worse then child birth.

Fotochick, I feel your pain, I really do. One of the best things you can do is to sweat!! The more you sweat the sooner your body gets clean from the toxins!

Just hang in there!

Hey Arman and anyone else interested.

Some important supplements you can take after being addicted to pills are listed below.. you have deleted vital things your body neeRAB to heal: If you are going to only invest in one product I was recommended DLPA because you will get immediate results.

#1 DLPA ( DL- PHenylalanine - 500mg 1-2 capsules 3 times a day) - immediate relief. It does help..believe me I am off my sub day 4 and I think I am going to get through this...yesterday I didn't.

#2 Corydalis Plus - ( 1-3 capsules - 3 times a day ) helps with Pain , Imflammation and Spasms

#3 Gaba Calm - up to 5 a day. Dissolve under your tongue like Suboxone. They act as a natural valium to calm you down.

#4 Idebenone 45mg ( brand World organic) 2 am and 2 afternoon. Helps with energy.

I have been drinking a green drink 2 times a day and trace mineral drops.

I hope this helps. I felt like sharing because if I can help someone not have to suffer one day that will make me happy.

Oh yeah..it is alot cheaper then suboxone ...that is for sure! I was paying $300 for an office visit and meRAB. That is alot when you are paying for insurance that won't cover it! Maybe that is not alot if your habit was up there..but I was on a script that cost me 10 a month...big difference.

Hi, this is my 1st day and I found this websit because I asked a question about suboxone. I have severe pain from being rear ended 2 times in 1 year. went to a pain clinic and I got really addicted to percocet, that is why I am on suboxone. I started in May 2008. It helped my pain for so long and it didn't hurt my stomache like all the other non addicting pain meRAB. It turns out I have Rh or lupas I'm right in the middle of all the testing. What ever it is I'm going to have to take pain meRAB forever, and that is fine I'm in to quality verses quanity of life..My Dr says I can stay on suboxone indifinitly because it helps me . I got a second opinion and he said the same. I did ask my rehab Dr about going off of it, and he said it would take about a year. I don't want to upset anyone with that info, but I hope you all are getting supervised by your Dr to be on the safe side. Oh also I tryed going off it before all the major pain problems and I was off for 2 weeks with out any problems, and then I started having bad withdrawals again. But I had been on 20 to 30 percocets aday for a little over a year and my Dr told me that the percocet wasn't even out yet.Good luck
