I am not sure about joining the military! help?

I have talked to the army and marine recruiters and both of them have made it sound like i would like it.. but i know that they can be liars and tell you only what you want to hear. i am almost 21 i have a good job (pays good) but the job does not fit my personality. i am a adrenaline junkie i like to always be busy hate being bored i participate in mma, rock climbing, snowboarding and other xtreme activities. im in good shape and eat right. my question i guess is would the military keep me as busy and on edge as much as i would like to be?? thanks for any answers
first off thanks for all the answers and as being bored and hurry up and wait. my job consist of going into a rock quarry collecting a sample of crushed rock and running test on it.. very boring and anyone who would find this fun is crazy. i do have patience i hunt alot and spend alot of time just sitting in a tree stand but the difference is that i like to do that so boredom comes from something you do not enjoy. just like jumping out of planes is boring to some people. and to the guys whos said something about video games i have played video game for maybe a total of 4 hours and never a war game
 
the worst thing we have ever seen in life besides everything else is using moms to bring children in to the world to join the military..GOD .. of course you dont wanna join the military they rape they kill end of discussion.... GOD GET YOU ALL OUT OF THE MILITARY.. AMEN i doubt anyone likes to be busy.. JESUS.. this is ridiculous these little storys GOD.. LIFE SUCKS..

The military is about one hundred times worse than the daily grind. If you can't handle that then the military probably won't be for you. It's not as exciting as all those games you play like Call of Duty; you won't be running and gunning around the desert killing terrorists all day if you join the Army.

Bob, AFSF is probably the most boring thing you could possibly do in the military.

honey i really dont think the military is for you, its hard work, sometimes boring and long as f*ck

its worth it to some of us who like it, but it'd just make you miserable from how you describe your personality

"MMA, rock climbing, snowboarding, and other xtreme activities" are fun things to do. If you are looking for just a way to get your adrenal glands pumping, stay way from the military. It's people like you that get other good men and women killed. The military isn't a sports program. It's dangerous as hell. You get shot at, rockets fired at you, and people get blown up and killed. You will see small children, who moments before you were giving candy to, laying around in bits and pieces.
What I'm trying to say is, don't join the military to get a rush, join to serve and protect the innocent.
 
Go air force. You can jump off planes!! (depending on your job lol) or do security forces, deploy to iraq/afghanistan and stuff. Dont keep your mind just on Army and Marines, dont forget theirs 3 other branches you forgot about and every branch is different.

I'm not sure what it is that makes you bored. But if you join the marines, army or national guard, and your unit gets sent to Afghanistan, I can assure you you'll never have a second to get bored. You'll be in action nearly 24/7 - if that's what you're looking for.

I'm not sure what it is that makes you bored. But if you join the marines, army or national guard, and your unit gets sent to Afghanistan, I can assure you you'll never have a second to get bored. You'll be in action nearly 24/7 - if that's what you're looking for.
