is this from? I'd like to ask you about something that has happened to me recently as i had awoken from a sleep. I in fact do not remember any of it, but my mum described to me what i was doing. I was sleeping (obviously), very deeply, i hadn't woken up yet for school so my mother came in to wake me up. As soon as she said my name, i sprung up out of bed and grabbed a lacrosse ball from my floor (if you don't know lacrosse balls are pretty heavy and dense). I then began to toss it up and down in my hand as if i was going to throw it at her. She said i had a blank but violent look in my eyes. As she continued to talk to me to try to get me to snap out of it, i dropped the ball, walked back over to my bed and began to sleep again. She then woke me up again and i was fine and fully conscious. What could this be from? I didn't have sleep paralysis because i could move. But i wasn't conscious and i don't recall any of it. It freaked my mother out quite a bit.

well this is just a form of sleep walking usually common in some male teens .The memory loss is due to the deep sleep you were in so to you you were just asleep but to your mum you were awake.

its just because you were in a deep sleep and you just woke up. it takes about 10-15 minutes to be fully concious when you wake up from a deep deep sleep.

this happened to me a few times. they are pretty funny accualy!

one time i was in a deep sleep on the couch and my dad was going to carry my up to me bedroom. when all of a sudden i woke up and walked up the stairs to my bedroom and picked out an outfit from my closet to wear for the next day. i dont remember any of that! my mom told me the next day.

another time was when i was sleeping on the couch (again) and i woke up to a loud annoying beeping. it was the oven timer for something, but i had no clue where or what it was comming from so i wokr up and started hitting the TV and then walked into the kitchen to slap the microwave and press all its buttons to make the beeping stop.

When you "wake up", it takes your brain longer to realize that you're awake than your body. Often my first memory of the morning is my mom yelling at me because she's been trying to wake me up for 10 minutes, but i dont remember it. Your brain may have made your body react to a particular dream you were having? But because you weren't conscious you wouldn't have realized what happened.
