converter, get away without? I need to get a inspection on my 92 ford escort which means because of the year I don't need to get a emissions test, can I just put a straight pipe on it and not have the catalytic converter on there and still pass?
depends on how stringent the laws are in your state, and the individual who actually does the inspection..some are more lenient than others......can get a replacement from jc whitney for about 60/70$$
