I am making a dash for an 2000 acura rl. i want to use wood for the frame

with a fiberglass finish. ideas? The face plate is pretty much square expect for the edges which are curved so that's why i was thinking of a fiberglass finish to shape the curved parts. would i be able to bond the bondo or fiberglass to the plywood or would i just use the wood as a mold and keep the fiberglass.? i am keeping the same design as the OEM. I just wan to modify it some
