I am hooking up an Alpine x100 to 150w Infinity Reference Speakers in the front and 105w versions in the rear. In addition, I have both an Infinity 475a amp for the front and rears and a BassLink sub.
- How would I hook both amps up to the battery?
- The total wattage of the system will be about 500w, would a new battery or even alternator be recommended?
- By using the RCA outputs on the head I will not need a wiring harness, correct?

Thanks in advance.

-You need a power distribution block to run more than one amp on one line to the battery safely. Make sure the line from the battery to the block is fused too.

-Normally you can run the rcas from the head unit to the first amp then connect that amp to the second amp with an auxillary out and another set of rca cables.

-I wouldn't recommend a new battery or alternator for that small of amps, but a capacitor never hurt anyone.

-You will not need a separate wiring harness if you are using RCA inputs.

You will need to get a simple amp hookup kit(walmart) and then get the dual amp adapter, The instructions are fairly easy to follow. Your front and rear speakers should hookup right to the factory wiring. And you may still need a new wiring harness all depending on what type of vehicle you have
