well i am looking to buy a jeep. i am only 16 so i wont have the money right away but i have some questions.
first wrangler vs wrangler unlimited. I like the unlimited because there is more room for cargo, and thats about it. I noticed in the wrangler, there is basically no space behind the second row. Is there any other difference between wrangler and unlimited besides size?
Second question, 4x4 or 4x2. I live in the northeast, so the winters can be bad. So does this mean i should go with the 4x4 (for the snow)? Also, can it be engaged/disengaged? I dont plan on doing much, if any, off roading though.
Third question. When i "build my own jeep" on jeep.com, and i select the dual top option, which gives you the option to use a soft top or hard top, it requires that the exterior color be black, and the seats a specific color. Why is that? Also, is there a different mounting system etc. with the dual top group to allow both the soft and hard tops?
Fourth question. What are some advantages and disadvantages of the soft top vs the hard top. take into consideration the winter time, dealing with the cold, and the summer.
Thats all i can think of now. But can anybody offer any tips or hints or things to think about or things to know. Thank you
P.S. I am looking at the 2009 models.
