...wondering how long these usually last? Would this be a good buy? How good of a truck are these?
 
NOT A GOOD BUY!!!! this trucks are garbage my brother has a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 4.8 5 speed and he replaced the trans twice, the clutch 4 times, the rear end once, and when driving on the highway the moter threw a vale and screwed up the top end of the motor. in short these trucks are pieces of SHIT DO NOT BUY!!!!
 
You didn't mention how much they wanted, so it's hard to say if it's a good buy.

It also mostly depends on what kind of condition it is in, and if it was well maintained.
 
its never the miles of any car or truck but the care it was giving getting them ive had many with over 400,000 but no looking at what your wanting to buy cant answer... other than saying look it over for signs of leaks and drive it and check how it drives check all the fluid levels and if any are low before you crank it or low after you drive it then best you not buy it anytime you have question about how one drives best to pass.. 120,000 you might run into a few problems normal wear and tear type things but checking for signs of problem best if it has any low fluids or any wet spots pass on it
