I am looking for heating pins to cook meat.?

Who me?

These are pins you put in thick meat that conducts heat and then transfers the heat to the center of the meat. Does anyone know where I can get these? These conduct heat so they are not electric....
Nice suggestions but I am looking for something that is shaped in a circle and has 8 arms out from the center. Each arm has 4 pins and one in the center, thus having 33 pins total. Set a thick chunck of meat on it and the pins cook the internal pat of the meat as the extreior gets cooked too. A friend has told me about this and I would like to try it but I can not find one. THanks though for the suggestions so far!

You can use a "Kabob" skewer.
Any metal will conduct the heat nicely.
There are "nails" sold that you stick into a potato that will hasten the cooking of a baked potato. That would also work.
If you need something right away take a regular all metal kitchen knife (The kind that you use at the table.) and make a cut into the meat with a sharp knife and slide the kitchen knife into the slit. The metal kitchen knife should do in a pinch.

You can get them at a barbecue or outdoor grilling store.

The have a loop on one end and are about eight inches long, made of metal. They usually come in sets of four.

I use mine to prop up thick pork chops to smoke on the grill.
