refund in the last few years code 1221? I want specifically respondants whom have had the code and then got something finalized like a refund or an audit or a partial refund. I know a lot of people are in this situation this year. My stats are a 6650 refund amount and a 14700 Total income from one W2 employer. I am getting the Earned income credit or EIC and additional child tax credits. If you are in the same boat then you are welcome to answer and I wlll try to update you when mine changes but I am really hoping to hear from someone who has had this before and now has gotten either their refund or some sort of final deal from the irs that lets them know the process is complete and what the final result was. Also a timetable (how long it took) to get either the refund or the whole process finished. Also anyone who sought help either Through tax advocate or an accountant that helped to speed up the process.
I called an accountant and he assured me that the refund is completely legit and that I may just have to wait a while longer to get it. So I am looking for an idea of how much longer?
