I am looking for a Subwoofer any Ideas?

Im looking for a subwoofer that hits hard and yet delivers a nice clean sound. I absolutely hate MTX and Kicker I have had them and they sound like crap. I would prefer 12's or 15's. Let Me know what you have used and have liked and what to stay away from would be nice! Thank you in advance. O and I will be installing them in a 2000 Cadillac Deville.
 
JL is good but very expensive. Image Dynamics supposedly has the best sounding subs on the market. RE Audio is good, Focal, FI, Boston G5, etc are also really good sounding. Out of those the FI Q 12 inch is known for being pretty freakin loud and deep but still maintains a good musicality and cleanliness. If it were me I would buy a single 12 inch Image Dynamics IDQ version
Alpine also makes really good subs for the money. Type R's sound pretty good
