When I go to yahoo answers to try to get any information about Verizon Wireless problems, it is answered by a Verizon Wireless tech.

I believe this to be a conflict of interest. Before I launch into my answer be advised I am writing a novel.

I have been a long time customer, have given many referrals and to my dismay I was treated very rude by not only the employee who jammed my phone so now I need a new charging port, which is one of the reasons I went in there was because my battery life was running low. In addition the employee scratched my phone with a dirty cloth and now I have scratches. The employee referred me to "his best friend" almost without a doubt this is the same company who said he could fix the problem. We will visit that down the line.

When I asked to speak to the manager in private the employee stood in front of the both of us. I turned to the manager and politely said I would like to speak to you in private. I just wanted to let him know what was going on with his staff. They both stared at me and I politely asked the manager shall we move over to the other area? The employee gave me a "stern stare" and I dismissed this. So after talking to the manager he said, well if you purchase a phone today you get $50.00 off. I told him again, I have not had time to shop for a phone and I do not know if I want to continue with your service. He told me I had until March 1st to update my phone. He never looked up my account, how could he possibly know my expiration date?

The employee who had jammed my phone approached me and said you can by a new phone today and get $50.00 off. . Well excuse the terminology here buy "duh". I explained to the manager that the manager I worked with at the store was always accommodating. He told me he would be back on Monday. I asked him to check the schedule and he yes Monday. The manager had a son and he will not be back for 2 months.

He told me he was sorry and that business comes and goes. Business comes and goes! Imagine that? I looked at a woman who was at the front complaining about her phone breaking into tears, I do not know all of the details so I will not disclose improper information. The employee comforted this woman and said yes it is out of warranty but after all that you have been through, let's see if we have that model and switch it out. I thought I was having a delusion. He just shook his head.

The representative said look we are here to help “hey I have a best friend who works at this place his name is john doe. I told him I knew the company being referred to and when I told him I was not satisfied that that company do you know of any others? Did he know of any others did the Manager know of any others? No! No? I live in Silicon Valley in California! Most Verizon stores in my area recommend this vendor.

Yes I did contact the Corporate Office and not much gain there either. So I am in a very big dilemma. Are there any of you who are having problems with this carrier.

It turns out that 3 people have sued Verizon and have had significant, compensation.
Buy a home in Silicon Valley significant. I don’t want to file a lawsuit I want my phone or the next one close to it, replaced. Is there anyone who knows of a resource besides the Better Business Bureau where I can get some help? I know all companies have problems, but my problems with billing issues, contract issues, phone return issues, well I guess I have had my fair share.

I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

I am offering 10 points.
