Hi I have a Sony aftermarket head unit that I got for $80 from best buy. After I hooked up my speakers -front / rear bose/kicker speakers- it worked fine so I got my 2 12" kicker cvrs and I got my kicker amp I hooked the 12v wire to the battery grnd wire to a metal piece in the trunk and secured it with a bolt hooked up my rca cables and plugged the speakers into the amp.
All that was left is the remote wire.. on the manual it says to hook it to the blue wire with a white stripe going down it for remote wire on the amp but when I did my HU kept turning off/on and won't stay on for some reason.. I checked my wire connections with all my wires none are loose and are very secured.
What can be causing this and how can I fix it..
"Also I noticed after about 10 mins my car battery had completely died to the point where my little interior light would not even turn on could it be that when I turned the HU on without the car being running that the battery had to power up the amp and could not do it so it killed the battery? I'm not to sure so help me out here 5 stars to best answer A.S.A.P.
