I am going to this camp for 7 hours.. can I keep a tampon in that long?

I am going to camp and I have to wear a tampon because I am going swimming and all.. but I can only put them in with vasiline and it would be a pain to put them in and stuff. The camp is a day camp, 7 hours long, so can i keep it in for 7 hours? Thanks!
 
Depends on how heavy your bleeding. If it's very light then you will be okay if you take it out asap afterwards.
But if it's heavy, then you should change it every two hours or so.
 
You can keep a tampon in up to 8 hours. However be careful because it can still leak if its get too full. Just check up on it and you should be good.

yes - tampons are good for 8 hours, but it depends on how heavy your period is. If it is heavy, you may want to change it more often (like after swimming).
