just make sure u disconnect the neg. battery term. 1st, run the wire(use a in-line fuse within a foot or so of the wire as it comes off the term.), ground the amp with 0g and keep it shorter then 2 feet, remove fuse from pos in line, connect neg to amp, pos to amp, remote wire and then connect battery and power on. hope this helps.
