I am getting ready to start doxepin

for years i have suffered from g.a.d. i have tries everything from maoi's to ssri's with horrible side effects !! I am getting ready to start doxepin..xanax or clonazepam work great ! little to no side effects.. I am worried about this doxepin and would rather just treat with xanax or clonazepam why do they keep putting me threw this?????
 
I wish I could tell you why but I think the same way. I have been on paraxatine, citalapram and now zoloft but an increased dose because my anxiety comes back. I'll tell you the same thing they tell me, which really doesn't make me feel much better but gives me some hope. I've been told it is just a matter of finding the right meRAB and the right dose and sometimes it takes trial and error. I wish I could be of more help but I can understand changing drugs and side effects and then the worry if you will get side effects.
