I am getting ready to go to Alaska in the military as an MP. Do the MP units

there deploy alot or not? I am married and would like to avoid separation as much as possible, but am up for it even if it means leaving my family. I understand that is one of the things I agreed to when I signed up, I just want to know what to expect. Also how is the housing there? I don't know yet what unit I am going to, but will find out on the 27th of this month. Any advice anyone?
 
have no clue it all depends on what your unit is u can get lucky and your unit might just have came back so u should be good for awhile. but then again they could be getting ready to deploy . some mp units get deploy a lot some don't

MP's are one of the most deployed elements in the military. I can't speak for Alaska, as I have never been there, but will tell you as an MP officer, you will deploy. Get used to it as an MP.
