:gun: Fuck this I am on hold for college admission because the program that I applied for is full......I even asked the fucking bitch at the desk when i was applying and she said its NOT full.....I applied for this program in like two months in advance while my other friends are fucking slacking off and i am completing their requirements.....and yesterday i finished the last letter of recomendation handed it came home happy....and today morning i get this mail saying its full........fuck fuck you know this happend last year and I was working fucking graveyard shifts all year long...WTF is wrong :mfinger:

I haven't been though that college bullshit yet, so I don't know what to expect, but i'm expecting a hassle. I'm planning on taking a College University transfer program for political sciences.

So what did they do, take your money and put you on a waiting list?

Oh shit really? My boyfriend is graduating May 7th from ODU and He has taking all those classes and is majoring in History, his second major is German.

fuck the money....I dont much care about the money....its that I am trying for second time to get in...last year I was working graveyard shifts in a restaurant for a lousy $7/hr becaz I didnt get in the college...I hate the job and the managers and if I dont get in this year I might never get other oppurtunity for post secondary and I am tired being broke as fuck in general.

In many cases, if you're trying to get into a specialized and limited course you have to pull some sneakiness.

First off, you can still go to school and take courses, just not the ones you were hoping for. This does a few things. It helps you out later when you re-apply since schools generally give preference to students at their own university. You also spend a semester dealing with a bunch of bullshit cources that help you meet the requirements for graduation. You know, like having to have a foreign language elective to get a degree in Business. (Yes, I had to take French to get my business degree.)

The other option is to royaly suck up to the professor's in charge and see if they'll waive you in.

Every school/university has it's own rules. Read them, understand them, then find the loopholes.

really I more of had to drop college due to moving... then life set in... now im pretty much stuck in the mundane world.... so its more of fucked myself but im not complaining too much, other then the braindead motherfuckers i got to deal with each day... kinda like trying to get zombies to do accounting or something... doesnt work well..

Well other then working improve your resume with something other then your other work. You have access to a computer obivously since you can post here so you can do outside study before you even start taking courses. They have some type of test to get in? or something along those lines? If so just get a higher score by studying. If they don't just find things that can improve your resume in anyway possible and if it really ends badly agian find another way to your goal. Going to the each universty you want to is not essential to be completely successful.
