I am employed with a company in San Diego, CA. after about 5 months of regular work, they told our work team that the job at hand had ended and that there would be more work coming shortly, to hold on for new work instructions. Well its been over 6 weeks and no work. no lay-off and no termination so that I can seek unemployment insurance. Is this legal? I have no income and my company is not doing anything to help us out. what can I do?
