I am creating a photography website and I needed some advice on it.?

I am interested in starting my own photography business and I was wondering if anyone out there has any advice for me. Any advice on how I should design my website, etc...I have all the products that I need for the business. Where is the best place to advertise my website and what should I say in my advertisement as well. All the help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

What type of photography are you showcasing . If it's like nature /animals that type of stuff then use a black as the main color to give it a sophisticated looks .If's it's like kids / people then go for a light color scheme , something with light green /pink . Make it not too-complicated and don't have a patterned background for the website , that's a major turnoff ,and no music , cuz music is extremely annoying and amateurish . Important thing is make sure your website is fast ,and the navigation is easy to understand .
