I am considering buying a Honda Fit. Could some Fit owners, mechanics, dealers, etc....

...give me some opinions? I am not looking at the car, because it is cute, but because it is a Honda. I am having a hard time locating a used Civic in my price range, but have found a couple of Fits. Except for the body style, they seem to have similar features. What are your experiences with reliability, safety and general user-friendliness? Thank you.
