I do agree, get it checked out. Request a carfax. If they say they can do it for a fee, this is bs. If they want tot sell you a multi thousand car, they can shove out 30 dollars for the carfax. Get it checked by a mechanic after they know you are serious, by taking the car for a "test drive" by yourself for a few hours. You want to make sure u know what your getting.

something like it. Any Tips? My car died on me and I need to buy a used car. I don't have a lot of money to spend and I know absolutely NOTHING about cars or what to look for. Can anyone give me any tips? I am looking at Ford Escapes because something about them I really like. However, something like them could work as well. Really, I have no clue. Anything will help!
