...floor should i use? since the floor downstairs is carpet
should i use marley? (don't worry whether its squishy or not)
or wood (not the type of wood floors at home obviously, like the ones in dance studios)

and i'll be doing pointe on these floors

the problem is, i've done pointe on a wood floor before and on stages before and i'm not that comfrotable on it, its just, which one in your OPINION, if you were building a dance studio at home, would you use and why please
thanks!

and which one do you use at your studio?
we use marley
thanks!

I think it depends on what kind of dance you will be doing. If it's pointe you may want something a little more flexible and maybe a sub floor? If it's tap I would just use polished plywood! Don't use small boards, if possible get big squares. Since wood gives you don't want gaps etc.

Sounds like fun, I've always wanted a home studio!!!
