I have an older Jeep Cherokee and am wondering if Chrysler goes belly up and my truck needs to be serviced at a dealer for instance (hopefully not - they are a rip off), what would be my options?

Thanks

you can take the jeep to any mechanic and they can service the automobile..it doesnt have to go to the dealership to b serviced

wel they wouldnt just close up all the dealerships and really if they did there si shops and parts store so you could find a place now to make repairs and find parts for it for another 40 yrs or more..truth is they been going belly up for 30 years or more so really not much to worry about unless you work there an dwhen you say older jeep shouldnt be going to dealer now just costing you more money unless its covered by a warranty an dthe work is free dealer would be last place to be at so if its not a new one your paying to much to get it worked on when any shop in town could do a better job and cheaper
