denichi, I am sorry toi hear about ow tired yo feel. I was the same way before I had a girlfriend get me to take a drink that got rid of my being tired all the time :) an go figure it was super healthy too! lol. I think that some of us just dont have the natural energy but some of your tired issue would be attributed to your weight too.

If you haven't, you should make a doctor's appointment for a check-up and tell them you're always tired and have no energy and would like to rule-out a medical reason (thyroid, anemia, hormone imbalance, etc.) *Ask about being tested for sleep apnea!!*

Start there. If all of your labwork and tests are normal, consider other causes: staying up too late, an irregular sleep cycle, poor diet (i.e. a lot of sugar, too little protein, etc.), depression (even mild depression can make you tired)...

I am tired all the time, too, but I know the reason why. (For me, it's a combo of staying up too late because I work 2nd shift and don't want to go to sleep for hours after I come home and also depression, but as long as I take my antidepressant EVERY day, I feel much better/less tired....)

Good luck in your quest for answers...

There are many things that can cause you to feel tired. What do your eating habits look like? Very commonly, food can make you tired if you aren't eating right. I cut back on "healthy" frozen meals and feel much better. I try to add more fruits and veggies to my diet and it improves my energy level.

The tough thing is, NOT exercising can make you even more tired. The tough part is getting the energy to go work out! I struggle with this, but if I am super tired, I'll have a cup of coffee for a little extra energy a bit before exercising. It just helps me get out there and once I exercise, I feel better. That's great that you walk your dog! Keep up with that. Maybe just add on a little bit more time to your walks :) Every bit counts!

Going to the doctor wouldn't be a bad idea at all. It's possible you have a thyroid condition. Look up the symptoms of hypothyroidism and see if that sounds similar to what you feel. Often you will feel tired and will experience weight gain. A doctor can give you medication to keep this in control!

I just got through telling someone else this, but I lie to myself and others. And I mean in my head I tell them I'm really hyperactive, and for some reason when they believe me I feel a little more energetic. Also if you surround yourself with people who have high energy it usually rubs off. Maybe exercise with someone like that.
