Should we be proud of ourselves now that Americans know we were lied to about why we went to war this time? Unless you are a fool we all know it was about protecting our interest in foreign oil and keeping the region stable. The stability not for the people or so called democracy but for oil. The same with the gulf war. We have been foolish not to do something to make our selves completly energy independent since the 70's when OPEC stuck it to us then. These 3'rd world counties are smart. They know we need there oil and to them we are the great satan and they love to see us struggle economically, politically and personnally so why are we still doing the same thing after 40 years? Still dependant on them for oil when we have all we need here. I do not think fossels fuels are where we need to be in the long term but for then next few years we need to spend our money on us (America) and become free of other countries oil. Then move into nuclear power and eventually wind and solar and H2O
