I have been playing music for years and I can play anything you ask me to play really... but I learned by ear... and years and years of practice... as we couldn't really afford formal lessons
now the weird thing is... I can play just about anything on the piano to a high standard if you give me time to learn the song... but I have never successfully learned how to read music in sheet form... I just cant grasp it at all its like a different language to me and I have no idea why... life would be so much easier if I could read music but I have been trying for years and I just cant do it... does anyone else have this problem?
