I have a 2002 Ford Taurus. All I want to get is a 12" subwoofer. I have no idea how to hook it up or anything that goes with it. If I got just that I don't need an amp do I? My friend said something about just hooking it up to the speakers in the trunk but I don't know if that is right or how to do it. Also, I am looking at the Sony 12" Subwoofer, XSL121P5W. Is this a good one? I do not want to spend more than $80 on one so if you have advice on a better one for this price please tell me. I also need a somewhat cheep box. I don't want to make one so where can I buy a cheap one? Like I said I am a rookie with all this stuff so if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
