You are missing out on a lot of great food if you are very picky. Do yourself a favor, taste everything. You may think you don't like, say, potato salad. Taste it, you might surprise yourself.
I raised 3 boys and 2 girls. When I put food on the table, they were required to at least taste it. They didn't have to eat the entire thing. To their great surprise, there were some foods that they simply thought they wouldn't like, so refused to try to eat them - and when they did taste them, they found out how great the stuff was.
So give it a shot. And if you don't like it, don't make a great deal about that,as long as you tried it - that's the important thing. Perhaps one day (as I told my 5) you will be old enough to enjoy that food. Turned out to be true with ALL five! <GBG>
