i am a joking racist, is that bad?

the common term for a racist is someone who looks down upon other races. i don't do that. i merely joke about other races. sometimes even my own.
my jokes are usually just bets against myself. for example: i walk to a liquor store, i tell myself "chances are, the clerk is korean."
when i get to the resister, i'm usually right (of the more than dozen times i've bought booze, i've only been wrong once)



am i still wrong?
 
Well look at all the professional comedians they always tell racists jokes its their jobs nobody thinks its wrong then
 
To be honest, my friends and I do the same thing to each other because we're all such a diverse group of people and we're that close. We know each other's boundaries though so we never overstep them. I think as long as you keep your jokes between close friends, it's ok. But when it comes to people you don't know at all or barely know, it's time to be a bit more serious and watch what you say, and that includes service people.
 
Well it depends on the other person; meaning that they might find it rude or offensive even if you were joking about it, I personally wouldn't like somebody to say racial comment in jokes about me, It would hurt me, You still can joke about it, but you need to be aware of who much is too much.
 
Well no just make sure you say it around the right people. Like if you were tojoke about hitler and that whole horrible moment in time dont do it around someone who is jewish .Or make sure to make fun of all rases like black white mexiacans jewish asians and all that kind of stuff but rember jokes can stop being funny within seconds. Nope, some people are just sensitive about this crap. There were virtually no Jews who were offended by Borat, just random people who thought that it was offensive to Jews (even though they weren't Jewish). Just make sure you balance it out and make fun of your own so you don't seem like a racist :p.

Your not really looking down at other races. Your just being sub consciously prejudice. Everyone does this so it's not that big of a deal. =D
