exclude me from dating? I write poetry and play guitar and sing and I can cook and clean and I go to church and I'm a nice guy... not ugly... at least, I am tall and athletic, if that counts for anything...

when I ask girls out they're always like yea we gotta do something but when they find out I ride the bus everywhere, they suddenly become very busy and start accidentally leaving their phone on silent all the time... I have a real nice place with big TV's and stereos and all that, but I like to keep the 1000+ dollars a month it costs for car payments, insurance, and gas and spend on something else.

Why is it that girls just totally don't go for that? I mean, come on, I would cook a girl dinner and then sing a bunch Beatles songs to her but since I don't have a car, she'd rather go out with some boring guy who does have one but just wants to have sex and skip the romance...

Am I living in the wrong time?
 
Aww you sound so lovely!!!! I so totally see what you're saying with the keeping the money than spending it on a car! And any girl would be soo lucky to have you! I dont know what you look like, you sound nice! But just your personality alone should be wayyy more tha nenough for a girl. Hunni, don't ever settle for just A girl, you want THE girl. A girl who'd appreciate everything you'd do for you. Any girl who choses a sleazy night of sex or a ride in a car is not worthy of your romance. Wow I'd do anything for a man who would cook for me and sing songs to me :)

Have you tried doing an open mic night if you like singing? Maybe you would meet a nice girl there, in to similar things as you?
Cars mean jack all! All they are is transport, granted, getting the bus/taxi/train might be a pai nsometimes but it shouldnt be the sole basis of a relationship or what makes a girl not pick you.

Keep ya head held high and you knwo what you want, you know what your principles are so stick by them :) the right girl will come along eventually, and she will be as beautiful as you sound!

Move to the mountains and find a bear to set up house with. I hear they also like hibernating. No girl in her right mind wants to spend time with a frugal tightwad. Get with the program dude.
 
If you live in New Yuck City, maybe not so much. IF you live in bangor maine, then you'd have to find the right kind of girl and it might be a bit more difficult.

when you say that you don't have a car, say that you're just really worried about pollution/the environment or something like that. don't date girls who don't like you for who you are!
 
Those chicks should get their own car rather than depend on a guy.

These are the types of girls that are sort of looking for the losers. These girls are the type that expect the guy to pick them up, date, and drop them off. And they wonder why guys just want sex and not love....just a little insight
 
No brother your not living in the wrong time.. Most girl's would rather you have a car and some dont.. You just have to find the right one. And if you cant (but I hope u can) then just rent a car and that should make them happy..
