I am going insane! we are trying for a baby after miscarrying last year at 12 weeks, i have been regular on my period ever since and its usually 32 sometimes 33 day cycles, i have now missed one period and i am late for a second! i am cranky and tired and feel like i am pregnant like i did last year! i am nauseous, in the mornings (but not every morning!) i haven't been stressed or had any weight issues to delay my period! but i am spending a fortune on little sticks to pee on and they keep coming up negative!!! I am waiting for the results of a blood test but what i want to know is there anyone out there that had the same problem for so long? what is the longest someone has had negative hpt's but definitely been pregnant? I have done some research and if i dont have enough of the pregnancy hormone then the baby wont develop properly increasing the chances of a miscarriage! can anyone confirm this or even better tell me that its not true!
Please HELP!!!! i just want to know!!!

I had negative at home tests. So I went to the clinic and had a negative one there but they sent me for blood work. The next week i'm sitting in my doctor's office discussing if I want a midwife or an OB/GYN. I was 11 weeks pregnant and still wouldn't show up on a urine test. My doctor wasn't sure why since my HCG levels were very high, they actually were so high that they thought I was most likely having twins. Well, 4 ultrasounds later and 9months of pregnancy I have a beautiful baby boy....just one.

i went 3 months without my period a while back and was convinced i was pregnant even though tests showed i wasn`t, i spoke to the nurse at the family planning clinic and she said that it`s most likely caused by stress, i know you say you aren`t stressed, but maybe trying to conceive coupled with the miscarriage last year has led you to be stressed out without really knowing it??

i hope everything goes well for you, i know it`s hard waiting for the blood test result but try and do things to take your mind off it, if you are pregnant you don`t want to be too stressed out for you and the baby`s sake.

I think this is normal. My friend had the same problem.. she didnt come on for 5months and thought she was pregnant... but she wasnt. she felt the symptoms of being pregnant.. It depends on what you eat and if you dont eat alot and are under weight this can cause you not to have a period. hope that was helpful.

usully the best time to do home tests is upto 4 days before ur due for ur period otherwise its very likely to read negative and be false closer to ur due date is betta.

My friend has been going through exactly the same. She's trying for her second baby and, where her cycle is usually 35 days, she's been going as long as 45 days between periods. She asked the doctor and he told her it is perfectly normal because you are psychologically putting yourself under so much strain, even if you don't think you are. You want to be pregnant so much that your body is delaying your cycle to give it every chance. She got herself a little kit and found that the stress had actually shifted her cycle onto 43 day cycle and delaying ovulation so she had even been focussing on the wrong weeks for "baby making" activities. Worth thinking about?
