...AACSB. Should I finish or go? I really thought I had done my due diligence on this school. Found out last quarter that the degree I have been working so hard for is not accredited...the school itself is accredited, but the degree is not. I am a very 'mature' student, and am very committed to finishing my bachelor degree that I put on hold while my children were young. I am only 36 quarter hours away from graduating from this school...should I continue on, or should I find another school with this program that is accredited? Also, I am doing very well at this school. I have been on the honor roll every quarter since I started and this quarter my grades have put me on the Dean's List. I discussed this with one of my colleagues and she mentioned that since I am doing so well, why don't I just stay...I may not do so well if I go someplace else. Shame on her! I am committed and I believe I will do well wherever I go. It really means a lot to me that if I'm going to do the work, I would like to know that my work will be recognized highly by the accrediting agency. I may already know the answer to this, but you know, sometimes it's just nice to just put it out there in black and white, and see what responses I get. All responses will be appreciated. I only have one regret: that I did not check this out before or immediately after I began. Take it from me: what you don't know can truly hurt you sometimes. My commitment, time and money is very, very important to me and since I have the power to change things, I just want to make sure I don't make a 'biggie' at this stage of my life. THANKS!
