i am 12 years old and want to look thinner by the time school starts.?

i am 12 years old and i want to at least look skinnier and very in shape by the time school starts which is september 8th. my legs and stomach arent that fat i just wanna look thinner. ive been trying not to eat as many snacks but nothing seems to be happening. i want to have a flat stomach so maybe something to get stomach muscles. and i want my arms thighs and calfs to look thinner. what should i do?
and how many calories should i have in a day? what should i eat in a day?
and i dont exactly care about losing weight, just looking thinner.
every time i am in a store trying on clothes i feel fat because my friend is super skinny and a size 0 but i am not and i feel really fat
 
Eat healthily, swim, run and cycle.

You are 12. You aren't in control of your weight until you can control your hormones....which you can't. It's just a matter of thinking "fit".

If you start worrying about Weight now, you'll never stop. Be happy and active and you'll feel great about yourself in your new uniform!
