it was scary i was getting tested and about three viles in i started feeling dizzy and everything felt like it was 10 feet away from me, and I could barely hear anyone, they put me in a stretcher and tilted me back until me head was below my feet...why?

It could have happened because you hadn't eaten soon enough. Some people may pass out or feel dizzy while getting blood taken because they have nothing in there body. When they tilted you upside down, they were trying to get the blood back into your head.

It's normal.

Your body needs lots of blood, and when blood gets taken away or lost, it sort of shuts down (aka you passing out).

This is also why people black out after a serious injury with heavy blood loss, or drunk people cause alcohol thins your blood.

Some people do pass out during blood tests, especially fasting blood tests. I've never heard of them putting you on a stretcher and tilting you back though, normally you can just rest in a reclining chair and sip on some juice until you feel better. I suppose it was to get the blood back to your head. Anyway, I know that had to be scary, but it's really nothing to worry about now. I hope this helps. Take care. :)

It is called hemophobia (not to be confused with haemophilia)

Hemophobia is where you have a fear of blood, lots of people have it, next time you have your blood taken make sure you tell the nurse taking the blood and s/he will lie you down so you don't hurt yourself when you faint

It is a common fear, my father is like this and I am sure there are millions of other people like this
