I accidently got bleach in my gf/s fishtank and the fish all DIED?

shes gonna be all po'ed when she gets home I thought of starting like a small fire and put it out and be like the heat musta done but I saved the house (that would make me look good) or like put the cat in the tank (i dont think it would drown) and let her find it and be all like "the cats flea spray musta killed the fish" ha gets rid of her stupid cat too..... gh any ideas????
 
not too many of these will work if your gf is smart. cause even if you leave the fish in and play dumb, i mean she will prolly get the water tested to see what was wrong and if they find bleach in there they'll tell her. then who will she assume first? you. try being honest and apologise A LOT. take it from a girl, the truth is much better than a lie. offer to buy her all the fish again. just be a major kissass. it should all be okay.

Don't lie man chicks don't like that. Go to the store and buy her copies of the fish before she gets back, then tell her the truth. Take her out for dinner, tell her you respect her too much to lie to her. That will make her like you even more!
 
haha The answer above me is funny...I say just tell your girlfriend that it was an accident or you could lie to her and give her the excuses you already said and let it come back and bite you in your ass. Good luck!
 
A standard water test wouldn't show if there's bleach in it, so she really would have no way of knowing exactly what happened.

I think your best bet would be to go out and buy her something really nice, then give it to her and apologize a lot.

this should be put on fml.com what kind of fish do you know? if they are inexpensive get some new ones, tell her that you where cleaning up around the house (using a bleach cloth) and then you cleaned the tank...or just act completely dumb and leave all the fish in there and be act like you have no clue what happened...dont start a fire.
