hystoplasmosis

My husband was in the hospital for two months for hystoplasmosis and of those two months 6 weeks was spent on a ventalator...Does anyone know what the chances of getting it again???

Histo is a fungal infection, avoid the fungus and chances of recurrence go way down. It's found in soil contaminated with bird and bat droppings, mostly in the east-central US. See the CDC site for more info and on how to avoid it if his job puts him at risk.
