I have been having symptoms of Hypo and Hyper for years without knowing it. I got some tests done but I am in a foreign country so hard to understand the doctors. 1st test = Free T3, 22.58 (range 2 - 4.9) Free T4, 3.91 (range 0.7 - 1.7) Also goiter measures on both sides roughly 70mm x 35mm. This doctor gave me anti thyroid drug and beta blockers. Took them for 2 months and then stopped because I found info on how it damages you liver. Stopped the medication for 2 weeks to get them out of my system a bit and then went to doc's again and got new tests as follows: TSH, 0.006 (Range 0.27 - 4.20) / Free T4, 1.83 (range 0.71 - 1.85) / Free T3, 8.47 (range 1.80 - 4.60) / Anti-TPO, 1773.00 (Range 0.00 - 34.00) I had loads of results from blood work but these are the ones that are funny looking: RDW-SD, 35.5 (range 37.00 - 54.00) / RDW-CV, 11.4 (range 11.50 - 14.50). This doc wanted me to go back on previous meds followed by operation to cut out the Thyroid or have RAI. Firstly, I don't understand what my results show. Do I have Graves like last doc suggests? or Hashimoto's because of the high anti-TPO? I don't understand. Secondly, is there any way to manage this through naturel medicines I would need to get the TPO down and sort out my thyroid Free T's and get my TSH up!... What should I do? I have very severe symptoms and need some help. As I say, I am not in UK, ı am in Turkey and so very hard to understand doctors. Thanks for any advises
