I just found out I have a peanut allergy, always knew I was a little sensitive to seafood, but this last year has been really bad.
My skin is horrible, itchy everywhere and normal sinus and eye issues.

It has finally gotten better now that we know what I am allergic too, skin tests.
But my doctor said my immune response will be hyper sensitive for a why until everything clears out of my system.

Does anyone have any ideas to help calm down my immune response, will a cleanse work? Some people have recommended probiotics.

I have had that happen before. You may have to take Benadryl several days to a week before the allergen leaves your body. I know it's a bummer. It does leave but it takes time. Hang in there.

I've been hypersensitive to many things ever since around 1967 when a "live" flu vaccine shot put me in the hospital, for ten days, with a severe Asthmatic reaction. Prior to that flu shot, I had never been Asthmatic.

I am still over-sensitive. If anything, it has gotten worse as I've aged.

I too have become more sensative to things as I have aged. I don't know why but I have. It makes me scared to eat anything new or to even get a flu shot for fear of a reaction. I just keep an epi pen on hand and Benadryl. It's no fun being afraid that's for sure.

I love chinese food, now peanuts, peanut oil, oyster sauce. I miss my favorite food.

I take Benedryl but it really makes me drowsy.

At my age, closing in on 70, my Immune System has weakened normally through aging, making my Immune Reaction worse, IMHO. At your age, 44, your Immune System shouldn't be going downhill yet.

One reason for more sensitive allergic reactions, is that you may have come into contact with additional allergens, irritants, pollens, chemicals, toxins, etc., making all of your allergic reactions worse.

What happens to you doing an encounter with an offending substance? Asthma? Difficult breathing? Labored Breathing? Sinus/Sinusitis issues? Heart Palpitations? Heart racing? Skipped Heart Beats? Higher Blood Pressure?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't get an email telling me that this thread had activity.

You re just dehydrated, drink 8 glasses of wate per day and you will be fine. Your skin will glow and your health problems will resolved. Add some unrefined sea salt to your water it will help relieve your allergies.
