Hyperfighter

I am new to this forum and plan on buying a DUCATI when i get home from the desert and upon researching the 848 and 1098/1198 i came across a bike called the HYPERFIGHTER. Total fabrication of a design and art guy who does a bunch of modded Ducati pictures. No chance.

That drawing is a fabrication, but the general concept *is* going to be shown in November at EICMA (bike show in Milan). This new naked "streetfighter" is based on the 1098 chassis, has a slightly detuned 1098 engine, dual shot-gun exhaust on one side, etc., etc.

From what dealers have been leaking, it won't look like that drawing, but the general idea is there.

The 2009 1100 Monster will be at the Intermot show in early October. Photos are already out though.

The rest of the updates should be shown at the EICMA show in November (at least officially in November).

Some dealers have already gotten 2009 models (like the 848). Doesn't appear to be any changes to the 848 other than a $500 or so price hike.
